Our Motorised Blinds makes luxury affordable and also inherently Child Safe as operating cords or chains are no longer required.

At Dowsett Blinds we have always been passionate about Child Safety right from the beginning with the launch of new safety products in mind.
This continues to be a key consideration for the blind industry striving to develop as many Child Safe systems as we can; we also endeavour to offer a stylish and functional range of Child Safety accessories across all product types.
In line with new legislation, relevant products will be completely compliant with the Child Safety Requirements of BS EN13120. Our aim is to support our customers with the best information we can to help them understand the new requirements.
Young children could be seriously injured by loops in pull cords, chains, tapes and inner cords that operate the product. To avoid any strangulation and entanglement risk, keep all cords well out of reach of young children.
This new legislation has been introduced to ensure that all window blinds are supplied to a set standard and will be compliant with the new specifications, to reduce any potential future risks.
